A collection of poems exploring the coexistence of tenderness and violence within a framework of masculinity. Through narrative and lyric modes, the poems interrogate complex questions of beauty and sublimity as they manifest internally and externally for the speaker. The poems search for consolation, strange wonder, and companionship in the ostensible late stages of the world.
