Abstract
This dissertation is dedicated to the development of graphene-based electrodes and transistors intended for use in biosensing and optoelectronic applications. The author's strategy for altering graphene morphology enhances performance and facilitates substantial photocurrent signals. Graphene's transparent nature allows for direct light modulation to the retina, and the flexible graphene probes integrated with microfluidic platforms offer a means to examine real-time electrical activities of retina ganglion cells. Additionally, the integration of scanning photocurrent microscopy with a graphene field-effect transistor allows for the detection of local conductance with a high spatial resolution. The findings of this research underscore the potential of graphene for advanced sensing and electronic applications.
