    Abstract

Women and Children First is the story of the coastal Massachusetts town Nashquitten, and the ways a girl’s murder reverberates through the community. Told through the eyes of several women and girls of the town, these stories examine safety, sexuality, and what it means to find connection in an increasingly technological world.
