dc.description.abstract | Through the lens of a Community of Practice, this study explores the roles and relationships between members of the Department of Special Services, Department of School Counseling, and the school-based social workers within a prek-12 public school district. A mixed-methods project design was utilized to provide insights into the level of collaboration that currently exists within a preK-12 public school district and identified ways in which each department of student support professionals could work together more efficiently and effectively to support students with mental health needs. | en_US |
