dc.description.abstractEducation Development Center (EDC), headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts, is a non-profit organization founded in 1958 that serves communities both domestically and internationally. The health promotion, practice, and innovation division focuses on numerous public health initiatives. This division seeks an effective method of responding to unplanned proposal requests improving the ability to obtain grant-funded work. A quality improvement study was conducted utilizing PDSA cycles to develop a framework for responding to these requests that incorporated staff at all levels within the division. Additional recommendations to facilitate work processes are also evaluated.
