Abstract
The alignment of organizational strategy, structure, and processes is fundamental to success in achieving organizational growth to scale. The key questions which guide organizational assessment are in two categories: how does the chosen strategy align with the “ideal” of this strategic type, and how do leaders align the four organizational capabilities of Entrepreneurship, Engineering, Administration, and Collaboration with organizational core activity priorities. The use of the Organizational Alignment Evaluation Protocol provides an assessment of organizational alignment and identifies areas of misalignment which hinder organizational effectiveness. To accomplish entrepreneurial growth to scale, the organization must engage in adaptive transformation to achieve their strategic goals.
