dc.description.abstract | Due to the accelerated growth of a newly launched private, Reggio-inspired preschool, the administrator of the school had not found an opportunity to conduct a formal assessment of the school’s alignment between its mission, activities, and growth. As a result, the preschool stakeholders had not received any feedback related to how the school was effectively performing and delivering on its promises as a Reggio-inspired preschool. Accordingly, this capstone project used an exploratory sequential mixed-methods design to examine the perspectives of parents, teachers, and the administrator at the preschool to determine if the preschool’s mission and practices were aligned and to identify any gaps between mission and practice that needed improvement. The stakeholder analysis assessing the alignment between the Reggio-inspired preschool’s mission, activities, and achievement identified that all stakeholders, especially the parents, were very satisfied with the preschool’s delivery of its philosophical promise, though there were opportunities for improvement in communication with current families. | en_US |
