Scott Merrick presents audio from a forum for young people on biomedical engineering, sponsored by the Vanderbilt Center for Science Outreach and held at the Adventure Science Center in Nashville on January 12, 2006. The presentations focus on what biomedical engineers do and how someone might go about becoming one, and on the nation's need for more scientists and engineers. The presenters here are Stacy S. Klein, associate professor of biomedical engineering at Vanderbilt; Josh Beckham, doctoral candidate; and Gerald J. "Jerry" Wilmink, another doctoral candidate.
