Abstract

Models are used to simulate quark-gluon plasma computationally, and these simulations have made accurate predictions for many observables obtained from heavy-ion collision data. Experimentalists have worked hard to measure a variety of high-statistic observables that are not commonly used in Bayesian analyses. I will present an approach to change this by taking two steps. Firstly, I will discuss a method of extrapolation to improve numerical convergence in the total model. The extrapolation is based on multiple coarser grid values and extrapolates to the result of an infinitely small grid. Secondly, I will present a plan for a parameter search to find the new set of parameters that fit with the data including high-statistic observables.
