The purpose of this project is to redefine the planning target volume (PTV) margins and isocenter for SIMT treatments to incorporate translational and rotational uncertainty while minimizing the contained normal tissue volume. This optimal PTV is hypothesized to decrease dose to normal tissue without compromising coverage to the tumor.
