dc.description.abstract | Institutional repositories are mainstays of the open access movement. However, theological schools have been slower to adopt them than other institutions of higher education. We believe that theological schools may be hesitant to build institutional repositories because they do not fully understand the principles of open access, have not conceptualized workflows to populate repositories, and have not developed effective communities of practice. In this essay, we try to provide perspectives on these three sticking points. | en_US |
