VUCast's Princine Lewis reports on the beginnings of an academic partnership of collaboration and exchanges between Vanderbilt and the University of Melbourne, in Australia. Jeffrey R. Balser, Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs, Provost Richard McCarty, and Melbourne's provost John Dewar speak briefly. Vanderbilt law student Jillian Mastroianni is congratulated for winning the inaugural (2010) Nashville Women's Half Marathon. Wolf reports that Rear Admiral Nora Tyson, a 1979 Vanderbilt graduate, is the first woman in Navy history to assume command of a carrier strike group.en_US
