Nobel and Vanderbilt alumni Perry Wallace and Eileen Carpenter speak, and Lewis acknowledges Bishop Joseph Johnson, Vanderbilt's first African American student, and Tommie Morton-Young, Peabody's first African American graduate. Lewis reports on Richard Hull, Vanderbilt alumnus and one of the executive producers of For Love of Liberty: The Story of America's Black Patriots, a documentary broadcast on PBS. Lewis reports on a humorous mention of Vanderbilt and its tough admission policies on Jon Stewart's Daily Show.en
