A paper for the Music of the Baroque and Classic Eras class in the Music Literature and History program of Blair School of Music, Fall 2008. Capozzoli examines the interactions between Mozart and Salieri and explains how the myth that Salieri killed Mozart came into being and why it persists in public memory.
