Sheila Gaffney is a physical therapist on the Total Joint Team in the department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She will explain what physical therapy program is needed after a joint replacement and what results to expect, like how quickly you will recover and get back to normal activities, and whether you will be able to garden again… or even return to sports.
