Abstract

A private Catholic school in Chicago sought to assess the sustainability of their after-school programming based on their enrollment, facilities, finances and needs of their community. Increasing participation and demands on facilities caused the school to examine their current structure. Methodology to conduct this investigation included historical data, interviews with stakeholders and parent survey data conducted by an outside organization. Successful implementation structures were also researched and changes for improvement regarding scheduling, data systems, facility use and fees were recommended.
