Abstract

Description

A paper for English 118W, Introduction to Literary and Cultural Analysis, Fall 2008. Cook claims that John Dos Passos' Big Money is not only a critique of socio-economic inequalities, but also an analysis of gender. She shows how Dos Passos accounts for his female characters' distasteful behavior by placing it within the context of capitalism.
